After two successful Guns 2 Gardens safe recycle events for unwanted firearms, we’re taking some time to refresh, retool, and reenergize. And we’ll be back with our next safe recycle event on May 1, 2027!

We successfully conducted our SECOND “Safe Firearm Recycling” Event on May 3rd, 2025. And what a success it was!

At this year’s event, we received 19 guns, including 3 semi-automatic weapons. We also received 2 BB guns. We disbursed $1,450 in gift cards from Kroger and Walmart. Several donors declined gift cards.

Many thanks to all our volunteers for your hard work. And a huge thanks to Scotty Utz and Stan Wilson from RAWtools-South who provide their knowledge, skills, and abilities along with all of the equipment necessary to conduct a safe, effective, and efficient event.
